Swallow the Lie (Animated Music Video)
A fast-paced, high-contrast 2D animated music video powered by traditional silhouette action and pure frame-by-frame timing done for the band, The Hollow.
When alternative rock band The Hollow came to us for their single "Swallow the Lie," they needed visuals that could match the track's heavy, relentless energy. The song explores the psychological tension of choosing between illusion and reality—a classic red-pill versus blue-pill conflict.
To capture that violence and speed, we pushed our 2D pipeline into high-contrast territory, relying entirely on fluid silhouette animation. Silhouettes leave nowhere to hide: without facial expressions or rendered clothing folds, every single impact relies 100% on strong posing, line of action, and precise keyframe timing.
Every frame was hand-drawn in-house by our studio team. The result is a gritty, hyper-kinetic music video that hits just as hard as the track itself.
